Elgin Allies has many volunteer opportunities for individual residents,students, business groups, churches and service clubs interested in giving back to the community and helping the city enhance the quality of life for all residents through giving back of our time and talents. Opportunities to serve range anywhere from working in community gardens, to helping at a city event, assisting with administrative duties for various city departments, or becoming a "snow buddy", shoveling snow for seniors.
