Food Pantry Distribution

All volunteers and clients are required to wear masks to follow COVID-19 guidance.
- Drive-thru food pantry distribution on Saturday mornings from 8:30 AM until Noon.
- Data input and customer service also on Saturday mornings.
- Other opportunities are available during the week for packing and storing food items.

Mission Statement
What we do: The Lords Food Pantry is a mission of the South Brunswick Interchurch Council. The Pantry provides nutritious food, personal supplies and other items to those in need in Brunswick County that come to us regardless of income, faith or other criteria. Through our community partners, we provide food and nutritional education to inspire confidence and hope to Brunswick County families in need. The Lords Food Pantry is a community of neighbors helping neighbors committed to ending hunger and supporting self-sufficiency. Volunteer opportunities include: collecting, picking up, storing and packing food for individuals and families, processing new client intake and orders, distributing at drive-thru Saturdays, and entering information into database applications.
Description
The South Brunswick Interchurch Council is a collaboration of several local churches in South Brunswick County, NC, who strive to be the church of Jesus Christ to our neighbors in need bringing them from hunger to hope. The Lords Food Pantry is the primary mission of the SBIC.
