Position(s): Marketing Volunteer

We are searching for an enthusiastic Marketing Volunteer with three years + experience. This individual will assist and/or lead marketing projects that the committee is running. We are looking for people who have experience with social media (content creation and managing accounts), content writing, media outreach, fundraising, websites, digital advertising and more. They will work with the leadership of the marketing team on the promotion of Ready to Empower to support the organization’s mission and needs.

Ready to Empower’s Mission: to foster the empowerment of women worldwide and drive sustainable change.

General Information:

Length of term: One to two years minimum

Meetings and time commitment:

• Marketing meetings range from once to twice a month, depending on the projects and pending their respective work agenda.
• Meetings are held virtually.

Expectations of volunteers:

• Attend and participate in meetings on a regular basis.
• Help communicate and promote Ready to Empower’s mission and programs to the community.
• Understand the policies and procedures of Ready to Empower.
• Develop creative ideas that can help RTE grow, create partnerships, and spread awareness in beneficial/cost efficient ways.
• Have a positive, proactive and collaborative mindset to work with different teams within Ready To Empower

*Examples of marketing volunteer’s major responsibilities /duties (depends on volunteer strengths) :

• Build brand RTE awareness through various media outlets
• Plan promotional campaigns for events, fundraisers, ongoing donor communications
• Collect and analyze market research data
• Work on identifying our donor personas and work to increase our donor communications and engagement
• Work on social media campaigns
