Second Friday CleanUps

BELLE ISLE CONSERVANCY

Bring the whole family to keep Belle Isle Beautiful on the second Friday of each month, July - October. Cleanups take place from 9:30am - 12pm and meet at Belle Isle Beach. These cleanups are on land only.

These are free, family-friendly events, welcoming volunteers of all ages! No RSVP needed. Please dress for the weather predicted that day and bring your own work gloves and reusable water bottle.

Friday CleanUp Series dates are as followed:

  • July 9th

  • August 13th

  • September 10th

  • October 8th

TIPS AND COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

  • Bags and gloves will be provided.

  • Our cleanup will follow all CDC recommendations that allow us all to remain safe.

  • Please bring your reusable water bottle and stay hydrated. Please wear closed-toe shoes or boots and dress for the weather prediction of the day. Due to the nature of being outdoors, consider bringing your sunblock and bug spray.
