Save the Water(tm) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water, and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW ­(tm) also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.

Our volunteers are diverse professionals from all over the world bringing their knowledge and experience to STW ­(tm) because we care deeply about our communities and water resources. The Role:

You will be drafting, editing and brainstorming everything from an email campaign, to a blog, a case study to website and social copy. You will interact with internal stakeholders to develop compelling content that promotes STW ­(tm) . This role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to create high-quality content.

What you will be responsible for:

• Support Associate Director for content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads to influence donations and user retention
• Understand best practices for SEO, keyword research and placement, content planning.
• Analyze keywords and create content to increase organic rankings.
• Develop relevant and engaging content consistent and coherent with our brand voice, style and tone
• Rigorously analyze results to optimize the types of content we’re creating
• Effectively promote content so that it is seen by our target audience and helps the company grow

• 2-5 years of experience in content marketing and/or SEO.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or related field
• Ability to create content and tell stories for different customer personas at different stages of the customer’s life cycle
• Experience building a content strategy and editorial calendar
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to gather and solicit feedback and make decisions
• Comfortable with ambiguity, unafraid of change, and proactive
