Who we are:
Rescuing Leftover Cuisine Massachusetts (RLCMA) is 501(c)3 food rescue organization that links available food to organizations who need it at no cost to the recipient through our network of volunteer "Rescuers" and our food rescue app. We are seeking a dedicated, passionate intern who is committed to social, environmental and local action. This is an opportunity to develop valuable new skills while making a real and sustainable impact in Massachusetts.
What you’ll do:
Rescuing Leftover Cuisine Massachusetts is seeking a fundraising intern to assist in reaching out to different companies and individuals for sponsorships, planning a fundraising campaign and help applying for grants. You will be working primarily with our volunteer Fundraising Committee.

This is a part-time, unpaid internship. Interns are expected to work 5-10 hours per week (TBD based on your schedule flexibility). Intern will collaborate with our Fundraising Committee. RLCMA is happy to provide any documentation needed for students to receive internship credit for their university/college program.

Food insecurity has risen 300% in Massachusetts, yet 40% of food is thrown out. Rescuing Leftover Cuisine bridges the gap between excess food and the people who need it through our network of volunteers and the use of our technology platform.
Volunteer with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine Massachusetts to transport excess food and meals prepared specifically for donation from businesses to human service agencies and directly to homes in need of food assistance.
We'll work with your schedule.
