Compassus Hospice is seeking kind and caring licensed massage therapists to provide extremely light touch massage to hospice patients.
We are looking for massage therapist volunteers to make visits to our patients in and around Barry county to provide relaxation and pain relief through massage. There is no need to bring a massage table-the patient is in a hospital bed or chair and fully clothed. You must be a licensed massage therapist in the State of Missouri.
Compassus is looking for volunteers to offset the depression and loneliness that COVID-19 has had on so many of our patients. Touch therapy is a needed service to comfort and emotionally support our patients.
A free mandatory comprehensive hospice volunteer training is provided to you. You will be required to wear a mask and gloves during your visit per Compassus policy.
