Is climbing a 14er on your bucket list this summer? Would you like to fundraise for a good cause? Join us in our Colorado 14er Peaks Challenge! We are trying to get participants on as many peaks as we can between the months of June and July. Our goal is to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and dementia, while raising funds and hitting up those peaks.
This is done through the Alzheimer’s Association’s fundraiser, The Longest Day. For more details regarding The Longest Day, or this challenge, submit an application and someone will reach out to you shortly.
Here is how it works:
- Register a team at alz.org/thelongestday
- Choose hiking as your activity.
- You will receive an email from a volunteer or staff partner to sign up for your peak.
- Ask for donations in support of your hike.
- Take pictures and show off your accomplishments!
This hiking group will also be receiving fun incentives and will gather virtually as a group to discuss further. We have a special speaker in line as well, for this group only!
All funds raised through The Longest Day go towards the care and support programs, advocacy and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
