This role can include researching small grants (typically under $5,000) that are a good fit for CARE, and preparing the proposal to be submitted. Some experience in the grant writing process is helpful. Reaching out to local foundations in advance to determine suitability may be required.

The mission of CARE is to support older adults to age in place with dignity.

Description

CARE Volunteers assists older adult homeowners who are low income with completing projects around their homes and property who live in Cleveland Heights, Highland Heights, Lyndhurst, Maple Heights, Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village, Richmond Heights, Solon and South Euclid. Our most common projects are various yard care services including weeding, bush trimming, spring cleanup, leaf raking and more.
