Do you have a a couple hours a week/month available to volunteer your time? Your time and efforts could benefit a hospice patient. Cadence Hospice provides hospice services to patients across Orange County, as far north into LA County as Whittier and La Habra, down to San Clemente and San Bernardino County (i.e. Rancho Cucamonga, Pomona, and Chino Hills), wherever the patient calls home. Patients may reside in their own home, board and care home or facility. Cadence Hospice provides hospice services to adults diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and have a prognosis of six months or less to live. These individuals would greatly benefit from even 1 hour/week or month with a visit from a caring and kind volunteer. Hospice volunteering is very flexible and it will be at your discretion to accept or decline assignments.
We are also looking for anyone who would like to volunteer their time and efforts by playing an instrument, participating in art interventions, providing socialization and companionship, listening to music, playing music, providing companionship, the ministry of your presence and so much more.

Hospice care is about living! When a patient is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, the patient and family may become overwhelmed with planning, emotions, questions, and fear. The Traditions Health hospice team provides support and guidance to patients and their families to address each of these needs throughout their end of life journey. We walk with the patient and their loved ones each step of the way, providing the education and care they need to have the best quality of life possible.
Our team is passionate about building relationships with our patients and their loved ones so that we know what matters most to them. Whether the need is physical, spiritual or emotional, our compassionate hospice experts are available to provide the necessary support. Comfort and dignity are the anchors of hospice care. Our clinicians are highly skilled at recognizing and managing symptoms early, in most cases allowing the patient to remain comfortable at home throughout the end of their life.
