During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Help our kids get back on track by volunteering at Olive Park Village as a Homework Helper! This is a great way to volunteer around your busy schedule! Help our kiddos with homework after school or tutor a student in need of extra support. You could tutor a child who is struggling with math or reading, or who just needs a little extra help.
Our shifts are Tuesday - Thursday from 4:30 pm - 6 pm, but we can work with you schedule!
First, fill out our volunteer application here: http://phoenixfamily.org/HIKE/volunteer-application.html

Phoenix Family empowers people living in low-income housing communities with the on-site support they need to gain stability and achieve self-sufficiency.
A stable, safe home holds enormous possibilities for a low-income family striving to chart a more secure and hopeful future. With an average household income of just $11,743, Phoenix Family’s residents are often just one crisis away from becoming homeless. And, like millions of low-income individuals across the United States, they need more than housing to build personal and financial assets and overcome barriers to success - they also require services where they live.
Phoenix Family’s Youth Development, Families First and Senior Empowerment Programs provide those critical on-site services that help residents learn skills and gain perspectives that keep dreams of stability and hope realities for the future.
Phoenix Family’s staff and programs rely on trust, rapport, choice and convenience to engage residents in services. All services delivered are culturally appropriate and based on the desired outcomes of residents, including increased disposable income, increased educational levels, improved health, and strengthened social networks.
We'll work with your schedule.
