We are a play program run through an in-house radio studio in hospitals that the child can use, operate, become the DJ, and pick the music. We broadcast through the whole hospital and give out tons of prizes for all the competitions run on-air and the craft activities set up each night.
While the kids help run a radio show, our trained Radio Lollipop volunteers go around to each of the hospital rooms and engage the patients with craft activities and play. The volunteers also make sure the children who "need a win" become winners that night.
05:30 PM to 08:30 PM
20 volunteers needed to run a session. Right now, we have Monday available and want to add more nights of service.

About RADIO LOLLIPOP USA INC
C/O 350 CANAL STREET, NEW YORK, NY 10013, US
Radio Lollipop is an international charity providing comfort, care, entertainment, and play to children in hospitals. We use interactive radio, crafts, games, and prizes to provide the psychosomatic benefits of distraction and entertainment to children in hospitals. Kids help run the radio program and volunteers visit each room to engage patients and their families with craft activities and play. Radio Lollipop gives young patients a voice and a choice during their stay. While they can´t say "no" to taking their medicine or receiving treatment, they can request their favorite songs, win prizes and hear their voices on the radio.
Radio Lollipop operates in 35 hospitals, in 5 countries, with close to 2,000 volunteers. We have just launched our third US location - New York Presbyterian’s Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. This is incredibly exciting for us as it will be our largest patient population yet!
