G. Harper Ministries is in search for 3 Board Members that all have a genuine heart to help those that are in need and willing to believe in a mission and vision that will leave a legacy for decades to come!
Ground Breaking Board Member #1- Secretary- We need someone who is a great writer, who is organized, detailed, very structured and can keep track of all board meeting notes and records. This person needs to have the knowledge to save notes digitally and to be available for (1)monthly meeting.
Ground Breaking Board Member #2- Finance- We are in search for an honest and knowledgable person who has the talents to create a financial review, program budget, keep records of all donations, and who can help guide us in raising funds. This person should love a challenge in helping small organizations, reach their goal and to help those in need. This board member needs to have the experience of dealing with non-profit funding and to be available for (1)monthly meeting.
Ground Breaking Board Member #3- Partnership Building- We are in need of a person who is great at relationship building. You like searching for the right potential partners. You get excited about finding the right organization to partner with. We would like to expand our reach Globally and help others across the metro Atlanta area. If you are good with planning events, building relationships, spreading the word, this seat is for you! 1 monthly meeting is all we will require.

Mission Statement
G. Harper Ministries aims to serve the least, the lost and looked over by providing basic necessities to the poverty stricken communities. We further aim to serve the youth by providing a safe place for tutoring, mentoring, hot meals, sports and a safe community of friends. In addition in the future, we look to create a safe haven for battered women in children. We look to be an organization that will protect women in children who are seeking immediate shelter and assistance. We see a day that G. Harper Ministries will build a large kitchen and facility in order to feed the underserved community on a weekly basis and give them a place to shower and a change of fresh clean clothes. We value equality of life, mental and physical wholeness and sharing with those are in need. G. Harper Ministries is an organization that loves to help people and will do everything we can to make a difference in the community!
Description
My name is Gabriel Harper and I have been serving the Atlanta metro area homeless population for 13 years. I started with nothing but an attitude of courage and consistency which lead others to come along side of me to help so many people. G. Harper Ministries have feed and clothed well over 3 thousand people, with no assistance from local or federal grants. We have hosted Thanksgiving Community Outreaches, Christmas events, and countless of local events giving out food, clothing, water and hygiene kits. We have been in operation for over 5 years and will are just getting started.
