Image_201903281502

The Koreatown Youth and Community Center was established in 1975 to support a growing population of at-risk youth in Los Angeles. Today, KYCC is the leading multiservice organization in Koreatown, supporting children and their families in the areas of education, health, housing, and finances. Most of the clients served are first generation immigrants from Asia and Latin America. Committed to serving the diverse population of Koreatown, we offer all programs in Spanish, Korean and English.

The Communications & Development volunteer/intern will work closely with Communications Editor to
support all KYCC online channels, including social media and website, for agency wide outreach
purposes. They will assist with social media management on KYCC’s platforms (Facebook,
Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter), including content creation and scheduling posts for program updates and
fundraising campaigns. They will also produce blog posts for KYCC website in support of agency events
and support with translation (Korean or Spanish) for program related content. The intern/volunteer will also
support the Development team with upcoming special event-related tasks as needed.

This is a great opportunity for folks who are looking to build their portfolio or experience, or for those who have some time to give their talents and experience back to the community. Work samples and a resume will be requested upon applying.

Should you have any questions about this opportunity, please don't hesitate to reach out to volunteer@kyccla.org or (213) 365-7400 Ext. 5240.
