Do you like to visit others? As a Companion Volunteer, you will provide support and companionship to our end-of-life patients and their families. Volunteers visit with patients in homes and facilities - bringing their time, unique talents, and kind hearts to create personal connections and provide companionship. Volunteers provide no personal daily care, but instead, review life, play cards, listen, talk about family experiences and hobbies. If in a home setting, the volunteer may also stay with the patient -- giving the caregiver the chance to run errands, attend appointments, or rest.

We have opportunities for those who would like to spend time directly with our hospice patients/families, as well as, those who like to assist from a more "behind the scenes" approach. - Criminal background check, TB skin test, Reliable transportation, Copy of drivers license, and Proof of auto insurance. Ability to read and write. All requirements are covered FREE of charge by Heart to Heart Hospice.
