This humane society is looking for families or singles that would be willing to foster cats who have been mistreated or abandoned. These cats are not adoptable through no fault of their own. They are afraid of people, and will trust you after a few months, but this makes them virtually unadoptable, as they are in competition with the friendly kitties up for adoption. The problem is that our group foster homes get clogged up with these kitties. The foster parents, of course, get emotiontally attached to them and want to keep them, but that virtually leaves us with no intake capacity, and that leaves a lot of friendly kitties at shelters getting euthanized that could have been adopted. We need people to stand up for the abused kitties, and let them live at your house. They may never get adopted, but they will always know that you gave them a chance. You may not see them for a while, just cleaning out a litter box, and watching food disappear from their dish. But maybe they will decide to trust you, and let you know that they appreciate the fact that you have saved their life. Please let us know if you have room in your heart for one of these kitties..... Or we also have lots of happy, friendly kitties who are waiting for adoptive and foster homes....

And we also have happy, friendly kitties who need fostering as well. There are just more kitties than there are homes to place them in. Please let us know if you are ready to welcome a kitty into your home...
