Catholic Charities Atlanta

Catholic Charites Atlanta’s (CCA) Family Stabilization Program (FSP) is seeking volunteers to assist with transcribing messages from both the helpline email and the information/referral phone line. We would like to create a master list of inquiries to avoid client duplication and to help us merge the two means of communication (i.e. if someone left both a voicemail and sent an email). This will help streamline the process and enable the Intake & Referral Specialists to more quickly contact those who are in need of assistance.

The information/referral phone line and email offers assistance for anyone in the community to identify resources such as housing/shelter, food pantries, rent and utility assistance, etc.

This opportunity is remote for now, with an opportunity to be in the Chamblee office for two days/week if volunteer prefers (address below).

Volunteers are needed for approximately 4+ hours per week during office hours, which are Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4 pm. CCA is flexible based on volunteer’s schedule within our business hours.
