ORGANIZATION: Senior Advocacy Services

HICAP Counseling Session
A typical Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Medicare session involves looking at the book "Medicare and You" and answering questions about health care options over age 65.

Do you enjoy a challenge? Over 10,000 people each day are becoming eligible for Medicare.

Volunteers with the Medicare HICAP- Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program make a difference and are a trusted and respected source of information for Medicare beneficiaries throughout the 6 local counties we serve.

Medicare Health Insurance Counseling North Bay serves Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Solano, Lake and Mendocino counties. Volunteers will be trained at a location in your county and will be assigned a mentor to assist in any way possible to make your volunteer experience a valuable one.

HICAP is a non-profit program and does not sell or endorse any insurance products or companies. Medicare beneficiaries can be assured that volunteers are impartial and will assist them in understanding their benefits so they can make informed health insurance decisions.
