Have you ever dreamed about busting a deserving pup (especially one that was on the euthanasia list simply because the shelter was full and they needed to make space) out of a shelter and driving them to their new found freedom and second chance at life? We are looking for freedom drivers to transport dogs from shelters in the greater LA area and up from the Tijuana border!
Right now more than ever we are looking for Freedom drivers as post-covid days are bringing everyone back to work, socializing and traveling.
Flexible schedules work great with this volunteer position as these requests can’t always be planned in advance, but it’s not required. We provide you with a crate/s to make the transport as easy and seamless as possible!
Freedom rides can be as local as staying in general vicinity's around LA or as long as Escondido back to LA. We also reimburse .30 per mile for gas!

Help us rescue deserving dogs in need and start their Happily Furever After Fairy-Tail! The HIT Living Foundation is a primarily volunteer-based nonprofit dog rescue. You make what we do a possibility. Whether it’s donating your time, expertise, skills, heart, or home - every member of our community helps us save a dog and find them their furever family to live their best life.
