The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking Volunteer Community Representatives to engage communities within Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Sullivan, Ulster and Dutchess counties. These volunteers will raise awareness of Alzheimer's Association programs, provide basic disease information, and connect consumers to Alzheimer's Association services by attending health fairs and other events in the community. We are requesting that our volunteers live within the seven counties as most opportunities will be out in the community.
Volunteers will enhance their knowledge of this worthy cause, sharpen their public speaking techniques, and serve their local communities by providing them with important information. We are looking for self-motivated individuals that are comfortable networking, collaborating with staff, volunteers and community partners, and reaching out to individuals and families in need and connecting them to the Alzheimer's Association.
To learn more about this position or see our other opportunities, please visit volunteer.alz.org. Please contact Jody Addeo at jaddeo@alz.org for more information.
