Do you like to help? Do you like to work with older adults in your community?
Volunteers needed to assist older adults in Columbia County by helping with shopping, errands and appointments. Older adults in rural communities struggle to access transportation.
Volunteer Driver: Transportation may be for non- medical appointments, such as bank, grocery store, post office, professional appointments, social events, and the local library.

Description
Aging Life Services volunteers help older adults and their families remain connected to their community.
In addition to the professional staff, the program utilizes trained volunteers to provide vital services and support. Some examples are; friendly visits, shopping, transport to & from the hairdresser/barber/medical and a variety of other community appointments.
