ORGANIZATION: BOMB TECHS WITHOUT BORDERS

Bomb Techs Without Borders is looking for an Information Technology System Admin to help support implementation and system maintenance of our software applications and tools which will be used for a variety of activities including donor interaction, inquiries through social media channels and internal workflows and processes.

We will look to you to provide your expertise to create a cohesive organizational image in furtherance of our nonprofit’s goals.

As an IT System Admin,, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and platforms and have experience configuring, installing, analyzing, evaluating and supporting application programs. Our world is virtual so this is a remote position and our software tools and systems are cloud based.

As a volunteer, you have full control over your schedule. We are looking for our System Admin volunteer to assist us with the following:


Responsibilities Include:

  • Configuring, installing and analyzing cloud based applications, systems and tools
  • Evaluating, testing, debugging, and supporting application programs
  • Designing, planning, and supporting a variety of cloud based systems and services
  • Set up and configuration of automated workflows and processes
  • Integration with platforms and apps like Teams, Messenger, Facebook, Quickbooks etc.
  • Configuration of application features for reporting and dashboards
  • Monitor, review, analyze and make recommendations
  • Research best practices, trends and new technology to increase the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives, and more
  • Maintain the system to support the team including password resets, adding and removing users, granting permissions
  • Make recommendations for system enhancements and applications to support the company mission
  • Attending meetings as necessary

Qualifications:

  • A degree (or pursuing a degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent preferred not required
  • Experience with Hubspot preferred and/or similar cloud based CRM applications (Salesforce.com, Zoho, Sugar etc.)
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of Tools preferred
  • Experience in configuring and implementing cloud based applications and tools
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and a well-organized self-starter
  • Comfortable explaining technical elements to non-technical people
  • Have a solid grasp of - and commitment to - our mission and vision
  • Demonstrate a collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a start-up environment
