Volunteers take on specific wildlife issues in the East Bay to become knowledgeable about local bird conservation issues, monitor and follow issues closely, attend meetings on behalf of Golden Gate Audubon, draft comments, and report to the committee and staff. Volunteers support the mission of Golden Gate Audubon - over 100 years of protecting native birds and bird habitat. East Bay Conservation Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7p.m. (currently virtually).
