Games for Love is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that works to ease suffering, save lives, and create sustainable futures for children. We believe in the concept of "distraction therapy" and bring the joy of gaming into the lives of our junior gamers in hospitals around the country. We plan to help 10 million kids in the next 5 years. We have a healthy ecosystem to achieve that goal with your intelligent contribution.

We are seeking a Sr. Gameplay Programmer to join our team. You will work closely with programmers, game designers, and artists to implement and improve fun game features for rewarding customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Proactively take the lead in the development of assigned features, creating and completing tasks, artifacts, and testing
2. Create Gameplay mechanics to design specifications
3. Creating base gameplay system and tools for the gameplay designers to extend
4. Attend weekly update meetings
5. Mentor Jr Programmers
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create features and achieve goals.

Requirements:

1. Able to donate approx. 10 hrs. a week.
2. Proficient in: Unity, Unreal Engine 4 Software, C++, C#
3. At least 2 years in gameplay programming, mechanics, and game design
4. At least 1 year of team leadership experience
