WCI's mission is to create safe gathering places in resource-poor environments where women can acquire new skills, a support network, and agency over their lives. A Woman's Center fosters healing and growth, enabling each woman to build a prosperous future for herself and her community.
WCI seeks a Digital Marketing volunteer. Supporting the Executive Director, this critical volunteer role will be responsible for promoting WCI content via Digital channels. This includes email campaign execution, social media posts, and using the CMS for the website.
We are seeking a volunteer with a Digital Marketing background who wants to help us get the word out about WCI and our mission.
Specific responsibilities include: Build monthly calendar with content and deliver
- Bi-weekly email
- Social media posts twice per month
- Participate in trial of Push notification app
- Track and report on metrics from campaigns above
Estimated time 2 hours per week.

Description
Since 2006, Executive Director Susan Burgess-Lent has opened four Women's Centers: two in North Darfur, Sudan; Baraka Center in Nairobi, Kenya, and Oakland Women's Center in California, USA. Two of those centers continue their growth. WCI's vision is a global network of Women's Centers serving refugee and IDP camps, urban slums, and rural towns.
