Hanover Township Youth and Family Services is currently seeking volunteers to assist with our programming at our new Youth Center in Elgin. This programming will consist of weekly Teen Nights that will feature an assortment of different unstructured activities for high school and middle school students, including games, arts and crafts, bonfires, and archery. Volunteers would provide assistance and supervision at these events as directed by staff. Teen Nights will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays, from approximately 3:00pm-6:00pm, and on Saturdays from 2:00pm-5:00pm. Programming is tentatively scheduled to begin in November, 2021.

Volunteers must be age 18 or older.

Since 1966, the department strives for excellence in service and goes above and beyond in its mission driven efforts. The staff offers prevention and intervention services in multiple arenas to best meet your needs and works collaboratively with individuals and groups to tap and grow natural supports, resources and relationships. Our core programs and services include:
