We give to others on the days when we feel strong so that we can receive from someone else lifting us up on the days when our strength is lacking! We all need connection, now more than ever. SeekHealing is re-educating the world on how to be in a connected community together. Part of the way we are doing this is through Seeker Missions: Random acts of kindness that will support those who are struggling with challenges such as addiction, mental-health, and isolation that has happened as a result of Covid. One of our Seeker Missions is to deliver gifts and send letters to these folks who are impacted by a life-challenge and feel like giving-up.
We are putting a call-out for handmade art, cards and words of affirmations. Write others words of support, tell others what you most need to hear yourself in order to feel encouraged. Write a poem or indulge in painting a picture. Anything creative and from the heart will do the trick! Then please send them to us! Covid has provided a perfect opportunity for families and close pods to work on these kind of projects together!

Mission Statement
Making opportunities for meaningful human connection universally accessible in order to prevent deaths of despair.
Description
In a hyper-local, community mental health approach, SeekHealing is a grassroots "social health" project to facilitate experiences of intentional and meaningful human connection between neighbors.
Piloted successfully in Western North Carolina since 2018 with support from Dr. Gabor Mate and other leading experts in trauma and Relational Cultural Theory (RCT), regional programs deliver the following at no cost to participants:
- Equitable public health education in social communication and emotional regulation skills
- Facilitated social experiences: substance-free parties, peer-driven support meetings, and community gatherings
- Human-powered technology solutions that facilitate individual neighbors showing up for each other’s social & mental health needs
