ORGANIZATION: RIFT Social Enterprise

We are looking to build a small bank of individuals who can spare around 3-4 hours per month, offering business start-up support and general business guidance to our participants who wish to go self-employed but need some extra encouragement on how to do this.
We will accept individuals from all backgrounds and varying skill sets, who will be willing to give a small amount of their time on an ongoing basis.

We aren't looking for specific skills, but if you have experience with supporting in business start-ups or have been involved in self-employment, you will be a great candidate to offer some much-needed guidance.
If you have not previously been self-employed but believe you have a skill that would be useful in supporting our participants then we would love to hear from you!

Description

RIFT Social Enterprise is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company which enables the most marginalised members of our society to establish and sustain self-employment.

We provide sector-specific training supporting beneficiaries to become registered and fully compliant as self-employed individuals, ready for employment as a sole trader, limited company or working under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and will provide on-going support for the first 12 months of someone’s trading.
