Handmade Items Team members use their sewing skills to create items of beauty and comfort for our patients, and memory items from a loved one's clothing for family members. These items often help alleviate a patient's pain without medical intervention, and families receive a cherished keepsake to help them grieve. We accept requests for customized items as well, to help personalize this service.
Items we offer include: gowns, lap quilts, neck pillows, hand grips, comfort squares, busy blankets (for helping patients with dementia-related agitation), catheter bag covers, shirt savers/protectors, and appreciation lap quilts for our patients who are Veterans.
