We need volunteers to help in all aspects of our therapeutic riding program! Lesson aides, horse care, barn maintenance, landscaping, fund raising, office work, housekeeping. Morning, late afternoon, evening, and weekend hours. Energetic environment, great people, wonderful cause. Must be at least 14 years old. Criminal background, child abuse clearances and attendance at a training session are required prior to volunteering. Looking for long term volunteers (not summer only) able to commit to at least a 2 - 4 hour weekly shift.

It is our mission to improve the physical, mental and emotional well being of individuals with disabilities through the equine experience.
Special Equestrians provides therapeutic riding and hippotherapy services for adults and children who have physical, emotional and developmental disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Autism, ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome and blindness/visual impairments.
