Fundraiser needed for this new, nationwide non-profit. Our mission is to end language deprivation in deaf children through a variety of divisions. One of our divisions, ValidED, is an innovative, research-based approach to education, providing visual access to language for deaf/hard-of-hearing AND hearing students, alike. This inclusive environment removes the need for segregated, self-contained classes & creates a sense of linguistic community. Currently we have pods in Colorado and Virginia. Looking for someone who can:

• Develop donor strategy for securing funds from individuals and corporate sponsors

• Help establish funding goals in concert with executive director and committee

• In conjunction with with executive director and executive committee create a development budget

• Maintain donor list and contacts

• Leads email and direct mail efforts

• Creates donor request letters/emails drafts

• Creates donor acknowledgement letters/email (thank you letter/email after gift arrives)

• Donor acquisition list research

• Develop a donor recognition program (donor list: electronic and hard copy)
