SYSTEM COALITION

Image_201805311748

Position description: Looking for a passionate, motivated volunteer who wants to empower kids through STEM education. We're in need of an experienced non-profit fundraiser to help us build a framework and structure that will enable us to raise the funds to be able to reach a larger audience. We currently fundraise through sponsorships and grants, but would be open to consider other opportunities as well. Fundraising, right now, happens at the chapter level, but we think that having a strong fundraising team at the organization level will help us to broaden our reach and to offer more opportunities for kids to discover the power of STEM. To start, you would work directly with the CEO and board to come up with a plan that aligns with our mission. You will have a lot of independence in building a team and a framework to best support the organizations fundraising needs. This is a great opportunity to get involved with other like-minded and passionate volunteers and to truly make a difference in today's youth. Any fundraising experience in the non-profit realm will be of help. There is no specific need to have any sort of STEM background. We look forward to getting to work with you!

A little about SYSTEM Coalition: We started 6 years ago in Tucson, AZ. 6 exceptionally talented and motivated people who wanted to give back to the community by helping k-12 students find a passion for STEM. They saw all of the poverty in the city and realized if just one of those kids from that community was able to get a great paying job in STEM, they could not only help themselves but also help their whole family break the cycle of poverty! Now the organization has over 100 volunteers, chapters in 3 different cities and growing! More than anything, being a part of this amazing organization has shown me that you really CAN change the world, one step at a time! Come join me in helping to expand our reach to our communities' youth!
