American Red Cross Serving Kansas and Oklahoma
Do you have the desire to help people in their most vulnerable state? The American Red Cross Disaster Action Teams provide 24-hour emergency response to local disasters, particularly house fires, ensuring that those affected have access to resources for basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing. Conduct a virtual intake with those that have been impacted by disaster. Strong technology and people skills required.
This opportunity is based on your availability, with a large potential for growth and leadership roles. No experience is required. All training is provided along with fellowship and mentoring from fellow volunteers. Training will take about 10 hours to complete.
Occasionally response is needed in person following COVID safety precautions.
