About SMASH HIGH

Location:

Mission Statement

SmashHigh is dedicated to providing elementary and middle school children understanding and access to academic concepts.

Description

Who we are:

SmashHigh, a non-profit staffed by middle and high school students in Silicon-Valley, aims to grant children living in under-resourced areas full access and understanding of academic concepts. In creating engaging, educational content, our children gain a new passion for certain subjects resulting in a higher chance of earning a high school diploma. Thus far, we have tutored over 4,000 students in elementary and middle schools all over the country.

Chapter Program:

During these unpredictable times, we want to ensure that no student gets left behind academically. Therefore, we started our chapter program as a way to reach as many students in different communities as possible. We represent the [your city] Chapter. We work closely with the directors based in the Bay Area, but we will be in charge of our partnership with [organization name]. We will provide local [your location] high school tutors to support under-resourced students in our community.

Stem Curriculum

At SmashHigh, we continue to expand our STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) based curriculum with over seventy-five lessons intended to quickly engage our students through hands-on techniques. Thus far, our lesson plans have reached over 200k students in the United States, Tanzania, and India.
