Whether you are a college-student, retiree, or anyone looking to give back to your community, Girl Scouts of Colorado has an exciting, new volunteer opportunity for you - from the comfort of your home!

Start your volunteer experience from home by being a virtual volunteer to help girls in our virtual troop program! Our virtual troop programs are typically six meetings long, lasting around six weeks. Volunteers would work alongside a Girl Scout staff person or volunteer to lead girls through fun and creative activities during 30 minutes to an hour-long meetings. The goal of our virtual troop programs are to help transition participating family members into a troop leadership role.

At Girl Scouts of Colorado, we believe in girls and what they can do, empowering them to take action and advocate for themselves and their communities, to create the future they want to see.

By volunteering to be a positive adult role model in girls’ lives, you can make a lasting impact. Join today!

About Girl Scouts of Colorado

Location:

3801 E. Florida Ave., #720, P.O. Box 9407, Denver, CO 80210, US

Mission Statement

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Description

Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA is the preeminent organization for girls with a current membership of 3.6 million girls and adults. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
