Do you speak a language other than English or Spanish? If so, we have an ongoing need for bilingual volunteers to help with interpretation. We serve a diverse population of families and need someone to help with interpretation in a variety of languages. This is a virtual on-call position for the next few months moving into a combination of virtual and in-person in the fall. Volunteers would assist with communication between staff and families. Description
CPCD is committed to the comprehensive early childhood development model, which is at the basis of its successful Head Start and Early Head Start programs. CPCD serves just under 2,000 prenatal through five-year-old at-risk, low-income and special needs children and their families. We operate classrooms in six school districts. Our two generation approach provides parents with education, services and training to help them be their child's first and best teacher. Community volunteers 12 and older join us year round to change the lives of our most vulnerable citizens.
