The Town of Forest Heights is hosting its Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 9am-12pm rain or shine! We will be removing trash from select roads in the town (Livingston Road, Talbert Drive, Sachem Drive and the stream by Forest Heights Elementary School) and we are seeking volunteers to help us clean up the Town! There has been a lot of trash buildup, and due to COVID-19, we had been unable to have cleanups in 2020. This is a great opportunity to earn service hours!
We are limiting the amount of participants to 25 in order to comply with social distancing guidelines. All volunteers must sign up by emailing kvia@forestheightsmd.gov or calling 301-839-1030. All volunteers must wear a mask and dress for the weather. Safety vests, gloves and equipment will be provided.
Snacks will be served before the event.
