Volunteer need in the home of a Hospice patient.
Please note: this opportunity is for an at-home Patient and will be not be in a facility.
Volunteer needed to assist with companionship, community, life enrichment, and to help with caregiver burnout.
Patient specifically requested volunteer to sit with him and keep him company while his son and primary caregiver runs errands and does activities to take care of himself.
Volunteer responsibilities can include: Conversation, entertainment (books, puzzles, games, movies, etc.), Small house chores/tidying, meal prep, and running errands.
PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers do NOT provide daily cares such as bathroom assistance, grooming, turning, showering, etc.
