SlumAid collaborates with charities worldwide. Our partners in Cameeron, the Denis Miki Foundation ( https://denismikifoundation.org/) and ASSOBOM (http://assobom.blogspot.com/), are looking for volunteers to help them with research and publication of journal articles, editing and tuning of reports, fundraising, development of social media content and the advertisement of their activities.
They need creative people who can develop interesting content to disseminate the amazing job done by these two charities. Your work will impact on the life of hundreds of children and women living in the most deprived regions of the world.
You do not need professional skills, just a lot of passion and willingness to help!
Our vision is a world in which everyone has the right to health, education and participation. We envision a world where everyone can have a positive role in the life of others and fulfil their potential. Our mission is to enable people to make a practical and lasting difference to the lives of those living in slums worldwide, through volunteering, and to support the improvement of life’s conditions in slum areas through education and health projects.
SlumAid is a UK-based NGO that supports underprivileged communities worldwide. We are a grass-roots charity, that works in collaboration with its local partners and international volunteers. SlumAid aims at breaking the cycle of poverty through good quality education, health services and community empowerment projects. We work in collaborations with charities in India, Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria. SlumAid needs skilled volunteers who can support our partners with their activities and needs. We need students, teachers, doctors, nurses, social media experts, accountants, HR experts, social campaigns' creators, marketing specialists, designers, web content creators, and anyone who wants to share their skills to improve the world we live in!
