Founded in May of 1947, Easterseals Washington has been serving children and adults with disabilities and their families across the state for nearly 70 years. Over the past seven decades, we have offered a variety of services to help those who need it most, and we are constantly working to reach underserved populations throughout Washington.
We recently completed a Strategic Planning process that will guide the next 3 years of our organization. We have set lofty goals, and we are confident they can be met with the right leadership and expertise. That’s where you come in:
We are actively recruiting to expand our Board of Directors with a focus on increasing its diversity, impact, and geographic reach. As a statewide organization serving people of all ages and abilities, we need our expanded board to reflect the makeup of the communities we serve across Washington. Our governing Board meets monthly often via phone or occasionally at a physical location. Board members have philanthropic responsibilities within their means and commit to be advocates of our mission within their communities and social circles.
Learn more about what it means to serve as a Board member at Easterseals Washington by getting to know our current members at https://www.easterseals.com/washington/.
Please reach out to Stacy Vallee at volunteer@wa.easterseals.com if you are interested in joining our team.
