Volunteer Plumber Needed - The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army in Summit Country is currently seeking a part-time Volunteer plumber. We have various little jobs that need done around the building as well as those that are preventative maintenance.
We are seeking something available anytime between 8-4pm on Mon-Fri.
Each job may take 1-2 hours to complete.
We will provide all parts needed to finish the job.
This is for a part-time plumber with the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED certificate
- 3 or more years of plumbing experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must have own tools
- skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and safety procedures
- ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
- familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX and copper
- effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
- attention to detail

Children and youth participate in character building programs fostered through an array of recreational activities, music and spiritual guidance. Seasonal giving programs allow low income families to enjoy and celebrate the holidays with donated gifts and food. More than twenty thousand individuals are served through our centers in Summit County.
