Are you looking for a way to get leadership experience and combat educational inequity? Do you have a special passion for a subject area or love mentoring younger students to succeed? VOLUNTEER WITH CONNECTING CHICAGO!
We are Chicago’s largest student-led nonprofit organization and provide free 1:1 VIRTUAL TUTORING for K-12 students in need. We operate on a quarterly sign-up schedule, so you can coordinate your tutoring schedule around sports and other extracurriculars! Once you register, we will equip you with the training and skills that you need to get started!
All volunteers will receive service hours for their time. The deadline for volunteers to sign up is September 6th.

Description
We provide free virtual tutoring in a variety of subject areas to over 850 K-12 students around Chicago! Whether your passion is Arabic or Mathematics, we have a student who needs your help!
All of our tutors register on a 2-month quarterly schedule and will receive training to be successful.
To volunteer with Connecting Chicago, you must be a current high school, undergraduate, or graduate student.

- As a tutor, you set tutoring schedule with the student and family! Each student you tutor will need between 0.75 and 1.5 hours of tutoring per week.
- All volunteer tutors must currently be enrolled as a high school, undergraduate, or graduate student.
