ORGANIZATION: Premier Athletics for Youth Development

The coach is responsible for all aspects of directing the teams practice and play in games. Most of the
participants will not have previous experience playing Football, but others will. Each team will have about 14-22 players with one or two assistant coaches.

Activities and Responsibilities:
1. To teach Football through the use of the games approach and through effectively planned practices
at a level appropriate for each member of the team.
2. To organize the players to participate in games and coach them during the games.
3. To encourage parent involvement and coordinate their assistance.
4. To provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all players, giving each child an equal opportunity to
participate.
5. To communicate with the Team Director on all matters of policy.
6. To serve as a positive role model to players, parents, officials, and fellow coaches by following all rules,
demonstrating good sportsmanship.
7. To communicate good health and fitness principles and positive character development concepts to
players, parents, and spectators.

Qualifications:
* Must have attended the coaches meeting or have reviewed the guidelines and rules with the
Team Director prior to the first practice.
* Must be of sound mind and good character.
* Must obtain a Coaches' Certification from USA Football.

Description

Premier Athletics for Youth Development’s innovative programs incorporate sports with a commitment to progressive youth development.

Our organization was founded on June 16, 2016.

Our Learning Lab program consist of one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions in which trained volunteers work with students on a particular academic skill.

The Personal Growth Workshop is designed to assist children in achieving important life tasks, by enhancing their ability to integrate thinking, feeling, and proper behavior.

Hundreds of children between the ages of 5 through 12, participate in our Youth Football and Cheer program. Our goal is to firmly implant the ideals of leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence in each child.

Our Youth Basketball program encourages good sportsmanship, developing strong playing skills, and friendly relationships. Our organization strives to maintain, as its primary goal, to provide a fun, safe, recreational environment.

We partnered with Loy Norrix High School Wrestling, along with MYWAY, and started the KPWC to offer training and wrestling opportunities for youth student-athletes. Our club is open to both boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 13.

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Team practices are 3 times a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. From 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Games are held on Saturdays, 10am through 4pm.
  • Some travel is also required whenever the team is scheduled to play on the road. All road games are played within a 40 mile radius.
