The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On June 20, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Longest Day Volunteer Committee is essential to the growth and success of the event by helping to recruit teams, engage participants, and promote the event. Volunteers with any variety of skill sets and strengths can help! Together we will raise funds and awareness for care and support while advancing research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s disease.

We meet once a month (virtually) and spend our time recruiting local businesses and individuals to start a fundraiser of their own! Learn how you can help our kupuna here in Hawaii by joining the Longest Day planning committee!
