Wired for Connection is a brand new program here at Bristol Hospice.

The goal as a Wired for connection volunteer is to be able to get with patients and set up video chats with a mobile device for them to be able to talk virtually with their family during COVID-19 or in every day life. Many patients are experiencing loneliness and isolation right now and families are unable to visit due to restrictions or geographic barriers.

Your job as a volunteer would be to bring a provided Ipad to the patient weekly and set up a video chat with their family members. If you are tech savvy this is the opportunity for you.

We require a background check, drug test and tuberculosis test as well as Hospice training online. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back and support your community and hospice patients.

-Must be 18 years of age
-Have a automobile and auto insurance
-Be able to commit to at least one day a week for an hour or two

Please contact if interested!
