The mission of Casa de Peregrinos is to alleviate hunger in our community through the acquisition and distribution of nutritious food. As part of that mission, we also commit ourselves to promoting public awareness of hunger in Doña Ana County and to securing broad-based support for hunger prevention and relief in the county.
Casa de Peregrinos is an Emergency Food Program located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. They provide food through a wide variety of programs throughout the county of Dona Ana. With distributions 3 days a week at the main site, and once a month at 13 rural sites, 5 senior centers, and 3 college/university sites, Casa de Peregrinos meets the community in need to provide food assistance. As a non-profit working to alleviate hunger, they also rely on the support of volunteers at all sites. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering. Please note that volunteers should be 18 years or older, unless accompanied by an adult. Volunteers will wear a face covering and abide by COVID 19 safety standards, including sanitizing, wearing gloves, and distancing.
We'll work with your schedule.
