ORGANIZATION: Boys Hope Girls Hope SF

We are looking for a UX/ Web Designer to volunteer with us at Boys Hope Girls Hope of San Francisco (BHGH-SF) . As a volunteer, we are looking for someone who can dedicate one-two hours a month to help update and maintain our affiliate website. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for our affiliate website, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with B HGH-SF's branding. You will be working closely with our executive director to ensure a proper and hassle-free implementation.

Preferred skills include:

  • Proficiency with wordpress
  • Proficiency with adobe illustrator/photoshop
    Visual communication skills including:

  • understanding of layout, color, typography, icons, images and design theory
  • Understanding of interaction design
  • Understanding of user empathy

Description

We need volunteer groups to help come in and lead career panels for our students (7th-12th graders). Along our Scholar Success Manager, your group will facilitate and organize a group discussion and presentation helping to expand the horizons of different career fields that our students can envision themselves in the future!
