Position: Scrum Master and/or SAFe Coach
Hours: 4 hours per week or more, during the week or during the weekend
Location: Remote
Volunteering commitment: 6 months
Introduction to Renaissance Sri Lanka
Renaissance Sri Lanka is a non-governmental, apolitical, non-denominational, non-profit, humanitarian organization that wishes to support the Sri Lankan population and impulse ethical change in Sri Lanka, in order to improve the overall livelihood and happiness of the population, in harmony with the identity, culture and values of its Society.
Our long-term goal is to empower Sri Lanka to meet the greatest challenges of the future: Climate Change, Environment Degradation, Technological Revolutions, changing World Dynamics, and Society Transformations.
We build working ecosystems in Sri Lanka, that thrive naturally: a social ecosystem (with a particular attention to empower women), an economic ecosystem and an environmental ecosystem.
We digitally connect our donors so they can grow their businesses in Sri Lanka, launch their own ethical projects and initiatives.
Our organization's first actions are to relieve families hit by the economic crisis that has followed immediately the covid 19 pandemic, by distributing survival packs to women head of families.

Job description:
You will help us :
- plan and execute our missions, our services to the Donors, the management of our organization, with maximum value delivery,
- coordinate and work in SAFe mode, in all our values streams.
Renaissance Sri Lanka governance structure is scalable quickly and efficiently. At the same time, we are SAFe(r) and Agile fans. We have four value streams that we pamper. It helps us be more innovative, more cooperative, more empowering for our members, staff and partners, and more flexible. We do this in all our interconnected value streams, and even in those not involving any IT, hence we are fully aligned with the latest SAFe 5.0 recommendations.
Our four value streams are:
- Empower our Donors
- Empower Sri Lanka
- Promote and communicate
- Administer RSL Organization
Responsibilities:
- Choose the best tools for the purpose, we work fully remote
- Organize our SAFe framework, animate SAFe ceremonies and coach us
- Animate our Scrum ceremonies and coach us
- Participate in suggesting new ideas and improvements
- Report to the Executive Director
Requirements:
- Experience of one year as Scrum Master and SAFe coach
- SAFe Certification
- Experience in working with remote Agile teams
