Meal Provider Volunteers team up with family, friends, or coworkers to provide a hearty meal for families staying at SECU Family House while they receive lifesaving treatment at UNC Hospitals. Groups can choose to either prepare the meal in Family House's newly renovated kitchen or bring already prepared food (from home or a restaurant). Dinner is served at 6pm for around 60 guests. Brunch is served at 9am for around 40 guests. Meal Groups work together to prepare the food, serve the guests, put away leftovers, and clean up. Providing food for Family House guests give them one less thing to worry about during a stressful time. After a long day at the hospital, the guests truly appreciate a warm meal served with kindness! Meal Providers can immediately see the impact of their generosity while teambuilding with their group!
