Help feed your community with Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf. CCEFS relies on the hard work of volunteers like you to serve families in need, so this role is perfect for anyone looking for a physically active and fun way to help their community!
The need for nourishing food is still growing, and so is our need for volunteers. We now serve over 1,000 households per week, and the number of families in need is still climbing every week.
To meet the ever-increasing need in the community, we are in need of more volunteers! We are serving more families than ever, and we need YOUR help to keep going! There is a lot to do every day, and we wouldn't be able to keep up without our incredible volunteers.
We are in need of additional help, especially on Thursdays from 2:45 pm - 5:00 pm. If you are available, we would love to have you join our team!
Drive-Up Client Specialist
Responsibilities
Preparing drive-up service with the items to be distributed for the day
Loading food directly into customer’s cars
Directing traffic during drive-up service
Assisting with the car-side customer intake process
Other duties may include restocking shelves, general clean-up, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
Volunteers must be age 15 or older
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 30 pounds
Volunteers are required to wear close-toed shoes, and should dress appropriately for the weather
Schedule
Mondays: 11:45 am - 2:15 pm, 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Wednesdays: 10:45 am - 1:45 pm
Thursdays: 2:45 pm - 5:00 pm, 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm
Fridays: 9:45 am - 12:00 pm, 11:45 am - 1:45 pm

Description
CCEFS is a food shelf located in Oakdale. Currently, we provide food to more than 1,000 families each week through our regular food shelf visits, Produce Fairs, Wildcard Wednesday program, and our Mobile Food Shelf.
During these difficult times, we know that there are many in our community who may be looking for help from CCEFS for the first time, or may have relied on us in the past and need us now more than ever.
All of our programs are up and running, and are now provided through weekly drive-up service. Visitors receive pre-packaged bags of food, placed directly into their trunk.
Our primary service area is Oakdale, Woodbury, Landfall, and South Maplewood. However, our services are available to anyone who needs them, regardless of where they live.
